Shark Tank is a very popular show, started back in 2009, produced by Mark Burnett and based on the TV show Dragon’s Den. The show includes a panel of “sharks”, 5 successful entrepreneurs that made hundreds of millions to billions of dollars, now seeking to invest in entrepreneurs coming on the show to present their dream. One of the things that’s unique about the show is that while the sharks are getting paid by the show for their work, if they choose to invest – it’s from their own money.
On the show, we see about 10 minutes per pitch, and it said that in reality the entrepreneur is pitching for about an hour, and after edit it comes down to 10 minutes. Click here to see some common questions the sharks ask on the show.
While the show switched few sharks until they got to their steady american dream team, one shark was always there – Robert Herjavec. In real life, Robert is known for “killing his competition with kindness”, and on the show, even if he turns an entrepreneur down, it’s usually with a non-emotional explanation about why the idea won’t work, or rather why he won’t invest.
During the show, Robert is sharing his huge passion for cars, where he has a collection of cars including, Bentley, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce and others. On his website, you can find quite amazing pictures of his cars, or from a Ferrari Challenge he participated in., and Ferrari even built him a driver page Ferrari page on their site.
Scouting for videos about Robert, we stumbled upon a video shot in 2008 of Robert demonstrating his Lamborghini collection at the time, sharing his passion for cars so we thought we ought to blog about it here at Charlie Alpha Romeo.
Before he became a shark, enjoy.
